Step-by-step gameplay guide
The core of this build is an infinite gold engine powered by Brann Bronzebeard combined with Fleet Admiral Tethys or Visionary Shipman. Brann doubles their Battlecries — Tethys returns a random Pirate after spending 10 Gold, while Shipman generates a Tavern spell after gaining 5 Gold. Together they create a self-sustaining loop: every purchase feeds the next one.
Your board carries the engine and the scalers. Shore Marauder amplifies every Pirate and Elemental buff by an extra +1/+1, turning each cycle iteration into real stats. Cannon Corsair converts every Gold gained into +1/+1 across all your Pirates. Underhanded Dealer grows himself by +2/+2 on each Gold gain. With five or six slots locked, every remaining board spot matters.
The cycle runs on fuel — cards that generate more cards when bought or sold. Sellemental produces a sellable token on sell, which you flip for another Gold. Tad produces a random Murloc on sell, extending the chain. Minted Corsair drops a Tavern Coin when sold, and playing that coin triggers your Gold-gain scalers for free. Patient Scout offers a Discover on sell, giving you another card to keep the loop alive.
Battlecry minions are especially valuable because Brann doubles their output. Shell Collector produces two Tavern Coins — pure Gold plus two gain-Gold triggers. Tavern Tempest gives two random Elementals, potentially another Sellemental. Hunting Tiger Shark and Rodeo Performer each Discover twice with Brann, letting you pick the best fuel or buff spells. Auto Accelerator hands you two Volumizers to sell. At Tier 6, Archaedas generates two Tier 5 minions — potential copies of Brann Bronzebeard, Cannon Corsair, or Visionary Shipman for triples.
Your exact fuel options depend on which tribes are available in your lobby — the cards listed above may not all be present in every game. Speed is everything. The more buy-sell cycles you complete in a single turn, the more stats your board accumulates. This is why the comp is called APM — your Actions Per Minute directly determine your finishing power.
