This is an APM build. The economy engine is the same Pirates APM gold loop: Brann Bronzebeard doubles the Battlecries of Visionary Shipman and Fleet Admiral Tethys, creating a self-sustaining buy-sell cycle that generates spells and Gold. The unique part is what you do with that economy. Every time you buy and sell Moon-Bacon Jazzer, its Battlecry permanently increases the Health bonus of all future Blood Gems by +1. With Brann, that is +2 per cycle. Fearless Foodie is a Choose One — not a Battlecry, so Brann does not double it — but it still adds +1/+1 to all Blood Gems per cycle. After cycling Jazzer and Foodie 10-15 times, a single Blood Gem gives massive stats.
Briarback Drummer is your gem delivery system. Its Battlecry gives you a Blood Gem Barrage — a spell that applies your scaled Blood Gems to the entire Tavern. Buy Drummer, cast the Barrage on the shop, sell Drummer, repeat. With Brann you get two Barrages per buy. Each Barrage applies your massively scaled gems to every Tavern minion, pumping the shop to hundreds of stats.
Felboar is the finisher. After you cast 3 spells, it consumes a random Tavern minion and absorbs its stats. Your APM loop naturally generates spells through Visionary Shipman, and each Barrage counts too. With a pumped Tavern, every Felboar proc adds massive stats. Golden Felboar eats one minion but gains double its stats.
Unlike most builds, cheap Tavern spells are critical here — every spell you cast counts toward Felboar's 3-spell threshold. Buy every 1-cost spell you see. The engine has two parts: economy (the Gold loop) and spell generation. Shell Collector is especially valuable — with Brann it gives two Tavern Coins, which are both spells that trigger Felboar AND Gold that fuels the loop. Coldlight Diver gives two Tier 1 spells on buy and death. Rodeo Performer Discovers a spell — two with Brann. Whirling Lass-o-Matic works as a fallback until you find better generators. The rest of the APM fuel is the same as Pirates: Sellemental, Tavern Tempest, Minted Corsair, Patient Scout — all keep the buy-sell chain alive. The more spell generators you have, the more often Felboar eats.
Paint Smudger adds board scaling on top: every Tavern spell you cast plays a Blood Gem on 3 friendly minions. Since your loop generates dozens of spells per turn and your gems are scaled, your entire board grows alongside Felboar.
This comp requires an extreme amount of economy to function — typically a golden Brann by turn 9, or early Brann + Shipman + Tethys. Without the APM loop running at full speed, you cannot cycle enough Jazzers and Foodies to scale your gems in time.
